Small exotic pet & avian medicine
Dr. Roger Pigott's expertise in avians and small exotics is an asset to our clinic. Combined with our laboratory he is able to detect many serious ailments.

Geriatric Care
Many of our senior citizen pets require extra special attention. Our doctors and staff are here to provide the necessary treatments to keep your pet going strong.

Preventive Health Care
We recommend exams on all of our patients annually along with testing for heartworms and intestinal parasites. We also currently stock preventative care products such as heartworm medication, flea/tick preventatives, and oral treatments for intestinal parasites.

Complete Pharmacy
We offer a well stocked pharmacy with the newest drugs out on the market.

Cancer Treatment
We offer chemotherapy, complete with CBC monitoring for eligible cancer patients in house.

Blood Pressure Monitoring
We offer monitoring for diagnosed or high risk patients by means of a Doppler.

|
ECG Monitoring
We have in house monitoring equipment to detect heart abnormalities. If needed we do work with a specialist and do ECG reading via phone.

Microchipping
The most reliable form of identification. This chip is permanently inserted under the skin and reads with a scanner. Clients register their pets with a national registry.

Vaccinations
To help keep your special family member healthy and happy, we recommend annual vaccinations and a thorough physical exam.

On-site laboratory
In the unfortunate event your pet is injured or becomes ill, we offer complete on-site blood chemistry capabilities. Our laboratory includes state-of-the-art equipment which helps our doctors diagnose and monitor the most difficult health problems including early stages of heart, liver, kidney, and diabetic problems. This is particularly beneficial for our older patients.

Radiographs
Our in house x-ray unit allows radiographs to be taken and developed in a very short time period while you wait.

Medical Diagnostics with Hospitalized Care
We have the capacity to keep patients who are in need of hospitalization. Some examples would be fluid therapy patients or patients that have been hit by cars.

Isolation Ward
We have an enclosed ward that we use to keep contagious or potentially contagious pets. An example would be cats that may have contracted Upper Respiratory Infections or dogs that may have acquired Parvo Virus or Distemper.

General surgery
Surgeries such as spays, neuters, declaws, hematoma repairs, tumor removals, cystotomies, c-sections, and exploratories are performed in our surgical suite. Our suite is equipped with a hi-tech Vital Signs Monitor capable of tracking heartbeat, heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiration, and temperature.

Orthopedic surgery
Dr. Hinojosa performs some orthopedic procedures here at the clinic. With our capabilities with x-rays our doctors are able to let clients know if the injury is fixable in house or if they should be referred to an orthopedic specialist.

Endoscopy
Combined with radiology, our state-of-the-art endoscopy unit offers enhanced internal visibility, which helps detect and diagnose problems at an early stage.

Dentistry
Dentistry is an important facet of health care that can add years to your companions' life. Plaque and tartar which harbor bacteria in your pets' mouth can lead to infection, loss of teeth and even heart, liver, or kidney disease. With our ultrasonic scaling and polishing your pet will be much happier and healthier with "pearly whites and sweet breath."

We offer medical grooming for pets with special skin problems. With this service we provide complimentary blow-drying, nail trims, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning.

Pet food and supplies
We are committed to providing the best quality food for our patients. That's why we sell Hill's Prescription Diets and Science Diet foods. We also sell a variety of shampoos and treats such as Greenies for your pets.
